- Legal frameworks for the processing of personal data
Learnely is aware that appropriate processing of personal data is an indispensable aspect of privacy law. To guarantee this right, you can read in this Privacy Statement how Learnely handles your personal data. Learnely is a company that carries out activities within the category ‘information and communication’, whereby Learnely gives the customer access to content. With regard to its business activities, the following legal frameworks apply:
1. The General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as: AVG);
2. The Implementation Act of the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as: UAVG).
- Description of personal data
Learnely can process personal data about you because you use the products and/or services of Learnely and/or because you provide your personal data to Learnely yourself. Learnely may process the following personal data:
– Your first and last name;
– Your address details;
– Your date of birth;
– Your gender;
– Your phone number;
– Your email address;
– Your payment details;
– Your IP address;
- Purposes of processing personal data
Your personal data will only be processed on a fair basis and only for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes.
Your personal data can be collected by Learnely are processed for entering into and executing an agreement with you. Your personal data may also be processed to determine the address for the delivery of products, to determine the address for the performance of the work, to make payment and to keep you informed of the progress of the agreement. In addition, your personal data may be processed to provide the services of Learnely and to maintain the relationship with you (as a customer). Examples of this are communicating with existing customers about new products or functions of Learnely
- Marketing Activities
Learnely keeps, in the context of its marketing activities, the general visitor data of the visitors of its visitors. Retaining your personal data may be necessary to be able to properly conduct business activities and/or to comply with legal obligations.
- Processing personal data of minors
Learnely only processes personal data of minors (persons under the age of 16) if written permission has been given by the parent, guardian or legal representative.
Learnely however, cannot verify whether a visitor is 16 years of age or older. Learnely therefore recommends that parents, guardians or legal representatives be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent their children’s personal data from being collected without their parental consent.
- Security of personal data
Learnely handles your personal data with care and treats it confidentially: your personal data will only be processed by persons with a duty of confidentiality and only for the purpose for which the personal data was collected. In addition, Learnely provide a suitable
security of personal data. Learnely protects the personal data entrusted to it using technical and administrative security measures to minimize the risk of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure and alteration of the personal data. You can think of firewalls, encryption of data and physical and administrative access controls to the data and servers. Learnely honors all your rights as a data subject. The data subject is the natural person to whom the personal data processed or to be processed relate.
